Silver-lining
You always said every cloud has a silver-lining
but then you had to be a hero
Fate held your thread tight
and one became two
presently you lurk with Death and his three-headed friend
waltzing with Lethe as I dance out of your mind
-- my cloud has long disintegrated
and my silver tarnished
Fury my only friend spends her time
toying with the strings of my dwindling sanity
I only inquire one last thing:
Where is your silver-lining now?
